Reference Signal: Description and Operation

This signal is sent from the engine starter circuit. The ECM judges whether the engine is cranking or not, and uses it as one of the signals to control fuel
injection timing, injector pulse width, ISC solenoid valve operation, throttle opener, VSV operation, and PTC heater operation (for A/T vehicle).
