1.
Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.
2.
Discharge refrigerant from system. Care should be taken to avoid excess compressor oil discharge with refrigerant.
3.
Drain cooling system and disconnect heater hoses.
4.
Remove steering column.
5.
Remove center console and instrument panel.
6.
Remove instrument panel center support.
7.
Disconnect all electrical connections and mode and temperature control cables from heater unit, Fig. 7.
