Negative: Service and Repair
Battery Cable Replacement (Negative)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the bolts securing the negative cable to the engine.
4. Remove the bolt anchoring the negative battery cable to the block.
5. Remove the bolt anchoring the negative battery cable to the frame.
6. Remove the negative battery cable.
