7. Remove the cable from the mounting bracket by depressing the locking tabs (standard cab).
8. Remove the cable from the body mount by depressing the locking tabs (extended cab).
9. Remove the cable from the lever.
10. Remove the cable from the backing plate by depressing the locking tabs.
11. Remove the cable from the retaining bracket.
12. Remove the cable.
