Service and Repair for NV 3500 Manual Transmission on C1500 Truck (2002) - Fluid Maintenance
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Using J 36511 install the oil drain plug.

Tighten the oil drain plug to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove and drain the drain pan used to catch the used transmission fluid.
4. Fill the transmission to just below the bottom of the fill plug hole.
5. Using J36511 install the oil fill plug.

Tighten the oil fill plug to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower the vehicle.
