Idler Pulley: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the upper radiator shroud from the radiator.
2. Remove the drive belt from the vehicle.
3. Remove the air conditioning idler pulley (for those vehicles not equipped with A/C).
4. Remove the drive belt idler pulley and bolt.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Install the drive belt idler pulley to the mounting bracket.
Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
