Engine Mount Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Inspect the engine mount for damage or looseness. Refer to Engine Mount Inspection.
Notice: Broken or deteriorated mounts can cause misalignment and destruction of certain drive train components. When a single mount breaks, the
remaining mounts are subjected to abnormally high stresses.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting
3. Remove the three bolts retaining the upper mount to the lower engine mount.
4. Remove the underbody shield from the vehicle.
Important: Do not support the engine using the oil pan, or crankshaft balancer.
