About the C 2500 3/4 Ton Pickup 2WD
The C 2500 three-quarter-ton pickup comes from the third-generation C/K trucks (1973–1991), sold by GMC and Chevrolet; these were the first C/K trucks designed with computers and wind tunnels. A 6.2-litre diesel V8 arrived for 1982, and for 1987 these pickups were renamed the R/V series (R two-wheel drive, V four-wheel drive) while the new C/K was sold alongside them until 1991.
