8. Remove the right fuel rail cover.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the right fuel rail cover.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Tighten the right fuel rail cover bolts.

Tighten the fuel rail cover bolts to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
3. Install the surge tank/heater hoses to the clip on the right fuel rail cover.
4. Install the left fuel rail cover.
5. Tighten the left fuel rail cover bolts.

Tighten the fuel rail cover bolts to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).
6. Install the sight shield retainer and the bolts, if required.
