Removal Procedure
Notice: Refer to Engine Mounting Notice in Service Precautions.
Notice: Refer to Engine Lifting Notice in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect both the battery negative cables from the batteries.
2. Raise the vehicle and support with safety stands. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
3. Move the front wheel to the left against the steering stops.
4. Remove the engine oil cooler line from the retainer.
5. Remove the engine oil cooler line retainer from the engine mount bracket.
6. Install the pole jack on the engine locating tab just to the left rear of the power steering pump.
