C Yukon 2WD V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
1. Install the oil filter bypass valve and a new gasket.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the bolts finger tight.

Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the engine oil and the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
Oil Filter Adapter
1. Install the oil filter adapter.
2. Install the oil cooler pipes.
3. Install the engine oil and the NEW oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
