C Yukon 2WD V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
3. Install the Pitman arm washer and the Pitman arm nut (8).

Tighten the Pitman arm nut to 250 Nm (184 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the relay rod (10) to the Pitman arm ball stud.
Make sure the seal is on the Pitman arm ball stud.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Use the J 29193 in order to seat the tapers.

Tighten the J 29193 to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
6. Remove the J29193.
7. Install the new prevailing torque nut.

Tighten the new prevailing torque nut to 62 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
8. Lower the vehicle.
