Oil Filter Adapter Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (See: Engine Oil/Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the oil pressure switch (1).
3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness retainer (3) from the oil filter adapter (4).
4. Remove the engine oil pressure switch, if necessary. Refer to Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement (See: Oil Pressure

Sensor/Service and Repair).

5. Remove the oil filter adapter bolts.
6. Remove the oil filter adapter from the engine block.
