J 22364-01 Drum to Brake Shoe Clearance Gage

J 42450-A Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit

Removal Procedure 

Caution:  Refer to Brake Dust Caution in Service Precautions. 

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. 
3. Remove the rear brake drum retainer.

Important  Before removing the brake drum, apply a small amount of penetrating oil around the wheel studs, axle shaft hub, and brake drum.

4. Remove the rear brake drum.
