About the Envoy
The Envoy was GMC's mid-size SUV from 1998 to 2009. It began as the top trim of the Jimmy, a year before Chevrolet's TrailBlazer, and the second generation (2002–2009) replaced the Jimmy on the GMT360 platform shared with the TrailBlazer, Oldsmobile Bravada, Buick Rainier and Isuzu Ascender. It was built at Moraine, Ohio, and Oklahoma City.
