About the G 2500 3/4 Ton Van
This is the three-quarter-ton GMC G-series van. GMC has sold its own version of GM's G-series full-size van since 1964. Since 1971 the engine has sat ahead of the front seats, and the van shares much of its mechanicals with the C/K trucks. The third generation ran from 1971 to 1996, when the Savana replaced it.
