Tank Pressure Control Valve
TANK PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE
The tank pressure control valve allows vapors to flow from the fuel tank into the system. When the fuel tank pressure exceeds the spring pressure on the
valve diaphragm (4.3 kPa), the valve opens and allows vapors to enter the canister or go directly to the engine when purge is enabled. The tank pressure
control valve is located in the engine compartment on the C & K models and near the fuel tank on others.
