K 1500 Truck 4WD V8-4.8L VIN V (1999)
1. Install EBCM (2) on to the BPMV (1).
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the four new T-25 Torx(R) screws in the EBCM (2).

Tighten the four T-25 Torx(R) screws to 5 Nm (39 inch lbs.) in an X-pattern.
3. Install or tighten three EHCU bracket mounting bolts

Tighten the EHCU bracket mounting bolts to 25 Nm (18 foot lbs.).
4. Connect the electrical connectors to the EBCM.
CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
6. Revise the tire calibration using the Scan Tool Tire Size Calibration function. Refer to Scan Tool Diagnostics.
7. Return to ABS Diagnostic System Check.
