Important:
Before disconnecting the Bose(R) amplifier for an audio system speaker diagnostic procedure, the 30 Amp Amplifier fuse must be removed from the
Underhood Bussed Electrical Center (UBEC). When diagnosing a condition of no audio from one or more channels, the 30 Amp Amplifier fuse must
be removed from the UBEC before beginning any speaker/wire diagnosis.
Failure to remove the 30 Amp fuse from the UBEC can result in a damaged Bose(R) amplifier. When the wires are reconnected to the amplifier with the
fuse in place, the resulting electrical surge can cause a failure of the Bose(R) amplifiers internal components.
