K 1500 Yukon XL 4WD V8-8.1L VIN G (2001)
5. Install NEW retaining clips into the remaining quick connect fittings.
6. Install the engine oil cooler hose/pipe assembly to the vehicle.
Important: A distinct snap should be heard when assembling cooler pipe fittings to the quick connect fittings. To insure the pipe is fully inserted into
the quick connect fitting, check by giving the pipe a forcefully.
7. Firmly push the oil cooler pipe fittings straight into the engine block quick connect fittings.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
8. Install the oil cooler pipe clip bolt.

Tighten the oil cooler pipe clip bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
9. Install the engine harness clips (2) to the lower pipe.
10. Install the engine shield.
11. Install the engine shield bolts.
