J 9481-A Pulley and Bearing Installer
1. Bearing to the rotor hub using J 29886 and J 9481-A.
2. Stake the bearing.

Use a center punch with a 45 degree angle point.

Staking depth should be 1.1-1.4mm (0.045-0.055-inch).

Stake in three places 120 degrees apart.
Installing The Rotor And Bearing (V-Groove Type)
3. Rotor and bearing assembly using J 26271-A.
4. Retainer ring using J 6083.
5. Loctite 601 or equivalent to screw threads.
6. Pulley rim mounting screws and washers. Do not tighten.

Check that the pulley rim is in line. Adjust if necessary.
Tighten
^
Screws (10) to 11 Nm (100 in. lbs.).
