Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair
A/C Condenser & Refrigerant Line View
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Discharge and recover refrigerant from the system.
2. Right turn signal and park lamp assembly.
3. Grille retaining screws.
4. Grille.
5. Evaporator tube (75) and 0-ring (76) from condenser (5).
6. Expansion tube (3).
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Expansion tube (3).
2. Evaporator tube (75) and new O-ring (76) to condenser (5).Tighten;
^ Evaporator tube (75) to 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Grille.
4. Grille retaining screws.
5. Right turn signal and park lamp assembly.
6. Refrigerant to the system.
^ Check the system for leaks.
