K 2500 Truck 4WD V8-6.0L VIN U (1999)
1. Install exhaust hanger bracket.
NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the exhaust hanger bracket bolts (2) (automatic transmission).

Tighten the exhaust hanger bracket bolts to 12 Nm (106 inch lbs).
3. Install the exhaust hanger bracket bolts (manual transmission).

Tighten the exhaust hanger bracket bolts to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.).
4. Install the front pipe. Refer to Front Pipe Replacement (System B 6.0L).
5. Install the catalytic convertor. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (Heavy Duty-6.0L).
6. Install the rear exhaust system. Refer to Rear Exhaust System Replacement (Heavy Duty-6.0L).
7. Install the protective shields as necessary.
8. Remove the safety stands.
9. Lower the vehicle.
