Engine Flywheel Replacement (Manual Transmission)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the clutch assembly.
2. Remove the engine flywheel bolts.
Important: The engine flywheel may need to be tapped with a non-metallic mallet from the engine side due to a slight interference fit to the
crankshaft.
3. Remove the engine flywheel.
4. Clean and inspect the engine flywheel.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the engine flywheel.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the engine flywheel bolts.
2.1.
Tighten the engine flywheel bolts a first pass to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
2.2.
Tighten the engine flywheel bolts a final pass to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the clutch assembly.
