Idler Pulley: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
2. Remove the bolt and the drive belt idler pulley.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the drive belt idler pulley and the bolt to the generator/power steering pump bracket.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Accessory) or Drive Belt Replacement (A/C).
