1985 C, K, - 1, 2, 3, WITH 6.2L DIESEL ENGINE AND AIR CONDITIONING
Some water pump pulleys on the above listed 1985 vehicles, equipped with 6.2L diesel engines and air conditioning may experience a crack in the area
where the pulley is bolted to the water pump flange. To correct this condition, a new water pump pulley, P/N 15550089, is available. The new pulley
contains a reinforcing cup located on the outside of the pulley hub.
Because it is thicker than the pulley it replaced, this new pulley requires longer mounting studs. Four new studs are included with the pulley, and it is
MANDATORY that all four studs are installed with the new pulley to assure proper clamp load. This new pulley can be used on either C or J engines
and is currently available through WDDGM.
