Uncouple the connection where the antenna cable and antenna cable extension meet (Figure 1). Check for the presence of moisture, corrosion, or other
signs of water intrusion. If there is any sign of moisture at the connector, replace the antenna cable and body assembly (P/N 15963441). It water intrusion
is present, it will also be necessary to replace the antenna extension cable between the antenna body terminal and radio receiver. (See Figures 1 and 2.)
