Idle Speed: Adjustments
Minimum Air Rate - Fuel Injection Only

With Special Tool J-33047

Idle Air Flow

NOTE:  The Throttle Stop Screw, which is used in regulating minimum idle speed of the vehicle, is adjusted at the factory. This adjustment should be
performed only when the throttle body has been replaced. Engine should be at normal operating temperature before making adjustment.

MINIMUM AIR RATE ADJUSTMENT

Remove air cleaner and air cleaner to Throttle Body Injection (TBI) gasket. Plug vacuum port on TBI unit for Thermactor Air.

Remove Throttle Valve (TV) cable from throttle control bracket to allow access to minimum air adjustment screw.
