Fuel Gauge: Description and Operation

The fuel gage is an electrical instrument that measures an electrical current from a variable resistance in the fuel tank. The variable resistance is
controlled by a float. When the fuel tank is full, the resistance is high, the fuel gage pointer is moved to its maximum position, which is FULL on the
gage face.
