Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments
1985 Models w/4-151 Engine
Ensure throttle is completely closed and ignition and fast idle cam are off. With cable properly connected and secured at throttle lever end, pull servo
end of cable toward servo without moving throttle body lever. If one of the six holes in servo assembly tab aligns with cable stud, connect stud to tab
with retainer. If no hole aligns with stud, move cable away from servo assembly until next closest hole lines up and connect stud to tab with retainer. Do
not stretch cable to make connection, as engine will not return to idle.
