Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove air cleaner.
3.
Raise and support vehicle.
4.
Remove exhaust pipe from manifold.
5.
Remove AIR hose and pipe bracket bolt, then the dipstick tube bracket.
6.
Remove fuel vapor canister harness pipes, Fig. 1.
7.
Remove exhaust manifold attaching bolts, then the manifold.
8.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching bolts to specifications.If exhaust manifold is being replaced, remove AIR manifold and exhaust
