Panel Replacement
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Cab P/U Only)
Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Extended Cab P/U Only)
Tools Required
J 38778 Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the bottom anchor bolt on the seat belt.
2. Remove the trim cover of the shoulder belt opening.
3. Using the J 38778, remove the trim panel retainers from the rear side door.
4. Feed the seat belt through the trim panel.
Installation Procedure
1. Feed the seat belt through the trim panel.
2. Install the trim panel to the rear side door.
3. Install the trim cover of the shoulder belt opening.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the bottom anchor bolt on the front seat belt.
Tighten the bolt to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
