Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

J 36221 Clutch Line Release Tool
Push Rod
1. Remove the push rod from the clutch pedal.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the master cylinder.
3. Rotate the master cylinder body 45° clockwise and remove the master cylinder from the cowl panel.
4. Raise the vehicle.
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
