FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.
3. Remove the protective shield.
4. Open the air bleed valve on top of the fuel manager/filter in order to release any of the pressure in the fuel supply system.
5. Remove water-in fuel senor connector at bottom of filter.
6. Drain the filter by attaching a flexible tube or hose 6.35-7.74 mm (1/4 to 5/16 in) ID to the water drain valve.
