3. Remove the 60 door check strap. Refer to Front Side Door Check Strap Replacement in SI.

The illustration above shows the check strap along with its interface to the inner door stop pin and carrier.

4. Insert the new rubber bumper into the hook on the check strap. Ensure that the orientation of the bumper (2) is that the end with the flange (1) is on

the top side and the flat portion (3) is facing the check strap hinge.

5. Install and re-engage the check strap. Refer to Front Side Door Check Strap Replacement in SI.
