Auxiliary Air Conditioning Evaporator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the auxiliary HVAC module. Refer to Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement   (See: Control Module HVAC/Service and

Repair/Auxiliary HVAC Module Replacement).

2. Remove the screws from the lower HVAC case.
3. Separate the lower case halves.

4. Remove the screws from the auxiliary HVAC module.
5. Separate the case halves.
6. Remove the evaporator core seal.
7. Remove the evaporator core from the auxiliary HVAC module.
8. Inspect the gaskets and the seals for damage.
9. Replace the gaskets and the seals.

Installation Procedure

1. Add refrigerant oil to the evaporator. Refer to Refrigerant System Capacities   (See: Specifications/Capacity Specifications).
