Control Valve Upper Body Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the control solenoid valve and transmission control module assembly. Refer to Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module
Assembly Replacement (See: Extension Housing/Service and Repair/Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly
Replacement).
2. Remove the manual shift detent spring bolt (4).
3. Remove the manual shift detent spring (5).
4. Remove the control valve upper body bolts (3).
5. Remove the control valve upper body (2).
6. Remove and discard the control valve upper body seal assembly (1).
7. Remove and discard the fluid pump seals (6).
