V6-229, 262, V8-267, 305, 350, 400 & 454
Shell type bearings are used, and if worn excessively, should be replaced. No attempt should be made to shim, file or otherwise take up worn bearings.
Main bearings are available in standard and undersizes of .001, .002, .009, .010 and .020 inch.
