Late production 1985 and all 1986---87 models with V6-262 engines are equipped with a one-piece oil pan gasket that replaces the four-piece gasket
previously used. The one-piece gasket (P/N14081222) can be installed on all V6-262 engines and should be used during installation whenever the oil
pan is removed.

Disconnect battery ground cable and drain oil pan.
2.
Raise and support vehicle, then remove exhaust crossover pipe.
