Beginning on October 21, 1985, or Julian Date 294 (refer to Figure 1) all 1986 THM 700-R4 transmissions have been built with control valve assemblies
that do not use a throttle valve sleeve (refer to item #327 in Figure 2) with the throttle valve (item #326).
