The three-quarter-ton Suburban. GMC sold the Suburban alongside Chevrolet for almost its whole life, renaming its version the Yukon XL in 2000. The Suburban, built since 1934, is the longest-running car nameplate in the world and the forerunner of the modern full-size SUV.
