Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Engine

Removal Procedure

Important: Clean all evaporative emission (EVAP) line connections and surrounding areas prior to disconnecting the fittings in order to avoid
possible system contamination.

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement   See: Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Air Cleaner

Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the EVAP line quick connect fitting at the intake manifold. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service   See: Fuel Delivery

and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

3. Disconnect the EVAP line quick connect fitting at the EVAP canister purge solenoid. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service   See:

Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Line Coupler/Service and Repair/Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
