Connect the solenoid operating vacuum motor to solenoid.

Connect a lead from the battery positive terminal to the A terminal of solenoid, and a lead from the negative terminal to B terminal of solenoid.
5.
Draw vacuum. The solenoid operating vacuum motor arm should retract. If not, replace solenoid.
