Effective immediately, American Honda is providing a lifetime limited seat belt warranty to the owner of any 1970 through 1986 model year Honda
automobile.
CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION
Customers will be notified of American Honda's Seat Belt Limited Warranty through advertisements appearing in many major magazines during June,
July and August 1986. Copies of this Seat Belt Limited Warranty have been made available to you for your customers at your dealership. Use reorder
number Y0193 to obtain additional copies of this warranty.
SEAT BELT LIMITED WARRANTY While seat belts can't eliminate all injury, they can provide a very significant level of protection when used
properly. American Honda believes that seat belt use is the best method of enhancing occupant safety presently available, and that the seat belts should
always be in good operating order for use by the vehicle occupants. This warranty is given by American Honda Motor Co., Inc., 100 W. Alondra Blvd.,
Gardena, CA 90248-2702, a California corporation, to the owner of any 1970 through 1986 model year Honda automobile distributed by American
Honda, and sold through its authorized dealers in the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. WARRANTY COVERAGE American
Honda will repair or replace, at its option, any factory installed seat belt that fails to function properly during normal use, free of charge for parts and
labor. All parts replaced under this warranty become the property of American Honda. TIME PERIOD This warranty continues for the useful life of the
car. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

Malfunction due to misuse, alteration, abuse, accidental damage or damage resulting from a collision.

Replacement of a properly functioning seat belt because of cosmetic reasons. TO GET WARRANTY SERVICE You must take your car to any
authorized Honda automobile dealer in the United States, Puerto Rico or the U.S Virgin Islands during his normal service hours. If you can't get
warranty service, or you are dissatisfied with the service or with a warranty decision, contact the nearest American Honda Zone Office listed on the

consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may
have other rights which vary from state to state.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Choose the appropriate operation number, flat rate time and defect code from the applicable Flat Rate Manual, or from one of the service bulletins
listed below.
2.
All replaced parts must be held for inspection by your DSM.
3.
The Seat Belt Limited Warranty continues for the useful life of the car, and at no cost to the customer.
