1.

Raise and support vehicle and remove wheels.

2.

Remove lower caliper guide bolt, Fig. 7, then pivot caliper up and away from pads.

3.

Remove brake pads and anti-rattle springs from caliper bracket, noting installation position.

4.

Position anti-rattle springs and new pads in caliper bracket and install pad shims, if equipped. Install inner pad with wear indicator, if
equipped, toward inside.

5.

Loosen caliper bleed screw and compress piston so caliper will fit over pads, then tighten bleed screw.

6.

Rotate caliper down into position, install guide bolt and torque bolt to 20 ft. lbs.
