Lower Ball Joint

Ball joint and lower control arm are replaced as an assembly.
1.
Raise and support front of vehicle and remove wheels.
2.
Remove ball joint stud pinch bolt, then separate ball joint from knuckle.
3.
Remove bolts securing stabilizer bar and radius rod to lower control arm, as equipped.
4.
Remove lower control arm pivot bolt and the lower control arm.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque bolts to specifications shown in Fig. 5.
