Dashboard / Instrument Panel: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. To remove the dashboard, first remove the:

Steering wheel.
-
Dashboard lower panel.
-
Steering column cover.
-
Turn signal cancel sleeve.
-
Combination switches.
-
Ashtray holder.

2. Disconnect the wire harnesses from the connector holder and fuse area.

3. Remove the hood opener
CAUTION: Don't disconnect the cable.
5. Disconnect the cables of the center outlet from the heater duct.
6. Remove the dashboard mounting bolts.
7. Disconnect the antenna cable.
8. Lift the dashboard as you pull so it will slide up and off the guide pin at the middle; hold it from underneath so it won't fall when it comes off the
pin.
