Retractor Motor: Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Retractor Motor Testing

Replace retractor motor if at fails to achieve desired results on any test.

1.

Remove retractor motor.

2.

Using test wires, connect battery voltage to BLU/RED terminal and ground to BLK terminal.

Motor should run continuously

3.

Disconnect test wires from retractor motor.

4.

While turning the knob clockwise, inspect retractor motor for continuity in the conditions noted.
