PROBLEM

The door opening seal is torn.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1.

Peel back the center pillar lining.

2.

Remove the damaged door opening seal.

3.

Using a wood block and a hammer, tap a 40 mm section of the flange inward (20 mm above and below the area of the tear). The inward deflection
should be approximately 5 mm.

4.

Install the new door opening seal using a weatherstrip adhesive such as 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive (3M Part No. 08008), then push the
center pillar lining in place.
