4. Remove the pad shims, pad retainers and pads.
5. Clean the caliper thoroughly; remove any rust, and check for grooves or cracks.
Pad Retainer Installation
6. Install the pad retainers.
7. Apply Molykote M77 compound to both sides of the pad shims and back of the pads.
Brake Pad Installation
8. Install the brake pads, inner pad shim A and B, and outer pad shim.
NOTE: Install the pad with the wear indicator on the inside.
9. Push in the piston so that the caliper will fit over the pads. Keep the boot in position to prevent damaging the boot when pivoting the caliper down.
